Week 8 Milwaukee Metro Area High School Football Roundup

For high school football teams across Wisconsin, it is now the home stretch of the regular season. With playoff jockeying, there’s still much to be won and lost. In the Milwaukee Metro area, 11 teams are ranked in the MaxPreps Wisconsin top 25, including all of the top five. Top ranked Muskego, 2^nd ranked Kettle Moraine, 3^rd ranked Mukwonago, 4^th ranked Hamilton, 5^th ranked Franklin, 7^th ranked Arrowhead, 11^th ranked Marquette University, 13^th ranked Port Washington,14^th ranked Homestead, 16^th ranked Waukesha West, and 17^th ranked Oak Creek all played last week, with the main event being a top five matchup between Kettle Moraine and Moraine. Kettle Moraine came away with a 24-6 victory in the showdown. With the final game of the regular season this Friday, these teams will all be looking ahead to the playoffs.
