The Packers got back in the win column on Sunday afternoon, picking up a 23-20 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Chargers. The team is now 4-6 and firmly in the playoff hunt heading into the team’s final seven games.

After two fourth quarter interceptions the week prior that did the team in, quarterback Jordan Love bounced back. He amassed 322 yards and two touchdowns. His second touchdown pass turned out to be the game winner, coming with just over two-and-a-half minutes left in the fourth quarter. Running back Jayden Reed also got in on the scoring action, picking up 46 yards in addition to his rushing touchdown.

Though the defense gave up a big day to Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert who had 333 all purpose yards and threw for two touchdowns, they were bailed out when it mattered most. On the Chargers final drive, rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnson dropped a would-be touchdown from Herbert, sealing the game for the Packers.

The team continues their quest for a playoff berth in their first season without Aaron Rodgers. They’ll have a tough task and will be on a short week, as they head to Detroit for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the 8-2 Detroit Lions.
