Amid hurricanes, puppies are finding their way to new foster homes in America

After about 36 hours without sleep, Christina Lloyd finally arrived at her Milwaukee home. Although the encounter with two hurricanes between Puerto Rico and Florida had made her journey rockier then expected, Lloyd considered her trip to Puerto Rico a success. 

While visiting family, Lloyd came across Flight Angels, a non-profit working to rescue dogs in Puerto Rico and send them for adoption in the United States. Lloyd will take care of a dog named Paloosa before handing the puppy off to her new foster family.
